By using CleanFile, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Service scope
CleanFile provides browser-based metadata inspection and cleanup tools for supported file types. Features may change, improve, or be removed over time.
2. Acceptable use
You may not use the service in a way that is illegal, abusive, interferes with system operation, or attempts to attack, scrape, or overload the service.
3. No warranty
The service is provided as is. We aim for accuracy and reliability, but we do not guarantee that every file format, device variant, or metadata field will be handled perfectly in every case.
4. Your responsibility
You are responsible for verifying cleaned files before sharing them, especially in sensitive or regulated workflows. Metadata removal reduces privacy risk but is not a substitute for full security review.
5. Intellectual property
The CleanFile site, code, branding, and design remain the property of their respective owners unless otherwise stated.
6. Changes to the service or terms
We may update the service and these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
